Hello

This is for those who are confused which docs to be sent to vfs after scheduling the online appt..(The docs should reach 5 working days before the appt date)

Please give your inputs.I am looking for answers for the following 3 points.

1.List of docs for H1(Primary applicant - This may include H1 transfer also.i.e. People who have transferred H1 and going to India for vacation and H1 re-stamping)
2.List of docs for wife/husband(H4) - Dependant
3.List of docs for son/daughter(H4) - Dependant

Your inputs are appreciated. Please don't give links.

1)List of docs for H1(Primary applicant - This may include H1 transfer also.i.e. People who have transferred H1 and going to India for vacation and H1 re-stamping)
DS156
DS157
DS158 if applicable
copy of 1st and last pages of passport
copy of I-797,
visa fee receipt
draft from HDFC bank of Rs. 2,300 - Original draft
Questionnaire(only for Mumbai consulate)
I am not sure if copy of supporting docs(like marksheets, experience certificates etc) have to be sent to vfs 5 days prior to the appt date.

Can anyone throw some light on this?

Any one can throw light on the docs which needs to be sent to vfs before the appt date.
1.For H1
2.For H4 - spouse
3.For H4 - kids

The vfs website is not clear in this regard. In some forums, people say they have sent supporting docs(copies of experience certificates, marksheets, degree certificates etc) also along with mandatory docs(I797,DS 156 and 157) to the vfs 5 days in advance. In other forums, some people have just sent the mandatory docs

Thanks
