H1-B transfer/travel to US while in India

Hi frnds,
I was in USA on a project and have returned back to India and now I wan't to travel again but since an H1B can't be transferred while in India, can I travel on the same visa(POE will be same as earlier) and get it transferred after reaching USA.
I have a couple of offers from good companies and don't wan't to get entangled in the body shoppers' web to go to USA.

Can I go to USA again on my current visa(vaid till June,2007) and resign from my current company after reaching USA and get my H1B transferred to a new company.
Plz guide and help !!

for h1 transfer u must be in valid h1 status (determined by i94) - u may file for transfer but uscis may request recent paystubs to approve the transfer
