Hi,
I have scheduled an appointment for visitor visa for my parents in end of june. I had applied for my I-94 extension in february. I got a status email in march that I-94 extension is approved. But, I have not received the documents yet. I have been following up thru my employer for the past 2 months - they want us to apply another application for getting the duplicate copy. But it will take more than 4 weeks.

So, is it ok for my parents to go for interview without my I-94 extension approval documents?

Thats OK.
You can write a separate letter addressed to consulate , stating the situation and also attach the copy(printout) of I94 approval email you received from USICS.
Ask your parents to show if aksed about your status.

Hi Kay, Murali
I am in the exact same situation that you are. (My extension has been approved but I have not received the documents yet). Can you please share the letter you addressed to the consulate to explain this?. Also, what is the "Application Type" in the mail you received from USCIS? Mine is "I129 , PETITION FOR A NONIMMIGRANT WORKER" since my petition had expired as well along with my I-94. Is it the same for you or is your "Application Type" simply "I-94 extension" ?

Thanks in advance
