Assuming u will get ur H1 before the interview, u have to put H1. (If its ur parents u have to put ur status, not ur husband's)
-We have not decided the date when will they come to US , what should we fill for Q-22 in DS-156
Put an aproximate date, say December, 2006
-its not decided how long they are going to stay in US, what should we write in form DS-156, Q:26.
Put either 2 months or 3 months
questions for DS-157

self employed

Q37 is for son/daughter and not for son-in-law. so don't put anything for ur husband. Just write ur status.

I have one more question. I am hoping to have my H1B by October but I am planning to take visa appointment for my parents for sept(If I take appointment now, I will get for sept). Will it be okay if instead of my husband I sponsor for my parents. My current status is EAD(OPT) which is valid till Dec06 and my F1 has expired on May 20th 06'.I have my I-20 and I can get employment letter from my current company.
Thanks,
Shreya
