Guys,
I am in a tricky situation here. I took appointment for my in-laws Visitors visa 4 months back, for Mumbai. I remember filling in online the DS-156 and DS-157 that time, but do not recall seeing an option to print or download the forms. If it was there, I may have missed it.
They now want that these forms along with bunch of other docs, to be mailed 5 days before the appointment to VFS's address in Mumbai.
There is no option to login now to print these forms on the VFS website, the only option was to re-schedule and when I went in there, did not see any option to print the forms.
Seeing no other option, I went to Mumbai US Embassy's website and linked to the online DS-156 form and filled it again and printed those for now. But I am worried that the barcode generated on this one is now different than what's attached to the appointment. Also, the major info should be same, but some textual stuff like (why are you visiting etc.) might vary a little from the original submission.
The DS-157 is just a paper form, so might be OK.
Anyone else in the same situation and do you know a way to print these forms. I tried calling VFS number Monday morning India time and the number was busy. I have emailed them too.
