My Mother appeared for Visitor Visa at Chennai. She had all documents sent from me. But she did not carry documents supporting her financial status in India like my father's photo, Financial status documents like his Land documents, copy of passbook attested, 3 years tax payment documents etc..

The consulate officer entered in compuater and discussed with few officials inside. It seems the gave a page full of reasons preprinted matter, with one of the option checked for this case, something to mean that "based on the financial background, we are unable to grant visa today" something like this.

Is there a way to produce these documents without the reapplication and taking new appointment. Dates are not available. For this reason, should someone wait for the period of 6 months to wait and appear ?

Whether fresh applicaiton fee and appointment date booking is the only way now. Please advise.

Thanks to you.

I learnt that we were required to take a fresh appointment. Dates were available only in November 2006. We took a fresh appointment and have no choice than waiting for.
