Is it problem if I am in India when my parents appear for interview?

I am currently working in US on L1 visa. I am planning to go to India on vacation in September. My visa got expired and currently I am on I-94 extension. I have taken appointment in US consultate at Chennai on Sept 5th for my visa stamping.

I am planning to bring my parents on visitor visa. I am trying to get visa appointment for them with Chennai consultate in Sept month so that we all can come together to US.

My question is, is it a problem if I am in India when my parents appear for interview with US consulate?

There is no problem, you can be any where at the time of thier visa interview.
