Hi ,

My mother has got the interview next week monday.She doesn’t have any property or great bank balance .She has got abt 1.5 lacs in FD and bank.That is all.
During the interview if the VO asks for the property docs ..what is she supposed to show ?

We have got a property affidavit signed by a notary with the above details (plus have shown some jewels worth 5 lacs )

so what does she have to show when asked for property docs ?

Pls help.

u can't show anything other than the affidavit since she doesn't have any property. Normally the affidavit will do. But its all up to the officer.

Since it is difficult to change the situation now, the old thing you can do is show good/strong family ties in India. Your mom has to answer only to the questions asked. She doesn't have to show anything until asked by the VO's. Even if asked she has to be very confident in whatever she says.

Affidavit is fine.
