My mom is applying for a tourist visa next month. She is showing around 7 lakhs in cash in her account. Do you guys think this is good enough??

The sponsorer also must show sufficient bank balance.

When my father went for visa interview the visa officer did not see a single document of my father.

My father first presented my documents (sponsor). The visa officer did not check the visitor's documents at all.

Yes, I am sponsoring. I am showing more than 20k....Hope it works out. I am just worried that she has put 5 months as her duration of stay and her leave has been sanctioned for 2 months. I can not make the changes in DS156 form now.......Am worried about that.

If you cannot make changes and don't want to fill new form then 5 months duration is also fine to go for interview.
