The visa issuance fee increased from 2300/- to Rs.2400/-
The DD can be taken from any nationalized bank like SBI, ICICI etc. DDs from co-operative or private banks are not allowed.

Honestly, I am not sure if ICICI is a nationalized bank or not. But, I know ICICI DDs are accepted at the consulate. I was trying to emphasize that DDs from "local co-operative" banks are not accepted and those from "big" banks are accepted. Sorry for the confusion.
