hi,
I have got my H1B filed and have got H4 for my wife.
The question that i have now is:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
I need to get the visitor visa stamped for my AUNT. She is around 54years old. She has no children, my uncle has expired 15yrs back and Iam the only dependent she has. Will this be a problem for her to get her visitor visa.
She gets a family pension from the government of karnataka and that is sufficient for her livelyhood in India. She is not dependent on me for her livelyhood in India.
Inspite of her having no children if she is gonna say that she has X number of children in India will the visa officer be able to find out the truth? (she will say that she has children in India only to provide proof that she had strong family ties in india and she will return back to india for sure.)
Or is she better off by saying the truth that.
1. does she need to show heavy balances in her savings account in India?
2. Assuming that she gets the Visitor Visa, how long can she stay in the US and how long should be the time limit between each visit.
3. I would also like to have the list of all the supporting documents that i need to provide her to get the visitor visa stamped.
Info would be deeply appreciated.
cheers,
Praveen.
