Plssss help!!!

Hi All,
I was working for MNC in India. they had 3 months notice pay meaning if a permanant employee wants to leave organization then he/she has to give 3 months notice period or 3 months salary.

I came to USA in december and quit that MNC in March(i was on unpaid leave) , now they are demanding the amount equals to my 3 months pay.

I want the consequences i may face if i dont pay that amount apart from not getting the experience letter...

Plssssss help. Anyone who has prior experience or saw any such cases plsss help.

dont worry about it. If u cannot get an official letter of experience from them then a fellow pier can do it for you, just get it notralized at any bank.
I am also facing the same problem. Infact, one of my friend served PATNI for 8 years and once he left, they said they cant give him an experience letter, what pain in the A$$. These desi companies come to US but wanna run the companies as per the Indian rules.

But if i dont pay them 3 months pay...then will there be any court case? is it illegal in India?
I read my offer letter nothing is mentioned if employee leave and doesnt pay 3months pay......
Pls share your views...
