I am applying for an L2 along with my wife who is going to US on L1 visa. We are planning attending the interview together although I may travel to US at a later date. I have the following questions.

1. During the interview, along with the required documents for L2, should I also produce either the leave letter or the relieving letter from my present employer ?

2. Also, what best reply can I give to convince the embassy official if the purpose of my visit to US is asked.

1. Not necessary L2 is always a dependet visa so if they grant L1 to ypour spouse they will grant L2 based on it.
