Question on H4 to H1b is it necessary to stamp...

folks,

My wife recently got her H1b approval and she already started working in a company...But her actual visa status is H4 when she entered in US 3 years back...

Is it necessary to go to Canada and get her H1b stamped come to US on H1b or is OK if she works in US with H1b approval only...because we will be visiting India next year and I'm thinking she can get her H1b stamped in India...

Any suggestions, comments....

If she has approved H1 petition and new I94, no need for a new stamp.
