H1 & H4 Restamping

Hi ! I am an Indian citizen here on H1 & my husband on H4 since Dec.2002. We got extension till Jan.07.I have few questions.
We r planning to go India.

1.Can we do visa stamping in Canada?Because its difficult to get the dates we want in India.Also does H4 people get the priority dates as H1 in India.
2.My mother-in-law is citizen & she filed for immigration for my husband in third category for citizen married children over 21 in 2004 , so I wanted to know is there any difficulty in visa stamping or if we go India?

I dont see any problem in either of the case as long as you follow the procedure and have all the required documents.
