Hi,

My mother is not very comfortable in English. She is having interview in Delhi consulate. While taking appointment through VFS, we couldnt find any option to ask for Interpreter or having Interview in Hindi.

Can somebody tell me if we can ask for same now? If yes, then How?

several other members of this forum have indicated that translators are always available at Delhi. Just ask for one once you get there.

Thanks for replying.

Do we have to pay something for Interpreter? If yes, how much?

Has anyone's parents or in laws asked for Interpreter at Delhi consulate during their Interview?

Please let me know.

Thanks for sending me the link. But it is for Mumbai consulate.

I have heard that at some consulate you may get Interpreters while at others you may not.

Thats why I want to confirm if anybody's parents or in-laws got interviewed in Delhi consulate and got Interpreters.
