I need some advice. My mom's Visa got rejected 2005 Sep . She has her
new appointment on May 9th. My father has a 10yrs Visa. My -in- laws
got thier visas on Jan 2006.

We have a 2 months old baby.

My question is

i) In the letter affidavit of support , should I mention about the baby. The reason is, I do not want the VC to have an impression that my mom is going to baby sit.

ii) My younger sister is unmarried and she came here on a project ( h1b ) last
september and will be returning back by june. Should i submit her papers for
my mom's Visa .

I would really apprecite , if someone could guide me.

The fact that you have a 2 month old baby can be found by the VC by checking your background using your SSN.
So you cannot lie regarding such info in US.

Always provide correct information.
Also, having a baby as dependent does really makes any one's case weaker.
If all other requriments are met and interview goes well, applicant should get the visa.

Thanks for the quick response.

Can they really get those information from SSN.

We are going thru a travel agent . He says to list only those dependants
as per the Tax return or W2 form, since that's the only way they know.

Flora,
First thing, nobody on online forum would suggest you to mislead the officer even if that could really help your case.
You weigh the risks and take a decision. You would get more helpful answers for a straight question.

Flora, I have a 4 month old son and my parents interview is on May 22nd, i'm planning to put my son as dependant on I-134. Not sure what the repercussions are if you lie and they come to know later; it might affect future travels etc. So I felt its better to be honest.
