Hi Groups,

I saw a requirement for Visitor Visa, for parents, to show Birth Certificate of Son (Sponsor in US). What if Son doesn't have a birth certificate ?? Is there anything else we can produce instead of birth certificate ? or birth certificate is must ?

Guys please advise....I would appreciate any clarification on this...

Thanks,
Rahul

Get a notarosed affidavit from parents/relatives. Notarised first page of matriculation cert will do also.

Do they have to show the original birth certificate or a copy is fine?

Thanks a lot dahlia2105 for your inputs. So, I will get my parents an attested xerox copy of my metriculation certificate. In that case they don't have to carry original certificate...right ?

no need of original matriculation cert. If I were u, I would carry affidavit from parents/relatives also.
