how many days it takes to get passport

Hai everybody,

I have recently attended U.S consulate and they issued me visa. VO told me that passport will reach with in 3 days. I have attended interview on 11th of this month, its 15th already. I didnt get my passport yet. I have paid the visa fee, and i have the receipt with me. What might be the problem? My place is a village, might it be a cause of late delivery? Plz somebody clarify me. Have patience you should get it within weeks times.

I recevied my pp from Delhi in 2 working days .U can check status of passport on VFS web site .

Thanks murali and sooram, but I have got appointment thru TTS. There is no provision to check the status in TTS. Anyway I will wait for one day and call TTS. I will write my experience once I got my passport.

My wife appeared two weeks ago and she didn't get her passport yet.

VFS site mentions they didn't get yet



Please any body knows reason.

It's been a week I sent the passport and DD's with DS156 and DS157 filled after my AAP is cleared. Still I am waiting, and VFS is showing same message. I am eagerly waiting for my passport with stamping.
