I am looking to get a visitor visa for my parents.

My father is 56 years old and my mother is 51 years old. I have a married elder brother who is based in India and staying with them.

My father has been a business man and now, my elder brother is taking care of business. My father has more or less retired from business and it is my brother who is managing the whole business.

what should I write in Q21 in DS156? Shall I say my father is 'Retired' or shall I say my father is a businessman?

Also, what supporting documents would be required if I say my father is 'Retired'? or what supporting documents would be required if I say my father is 'businessman'?

Thanks in advance,

Ashish

If say active in business - may carry the business card if any, proof of business any business brochure/ad, business office proof rental receipt etc.( show only if asked)
IF say retired no need to show any business document as such, but officer may ask occupation priror to retirement so should be able to give a legitimate answer.
