appointment rescheduling

I got appointment in SEP. But i want to reschedule it to earlier date. How i should proceed. Can i use reschedule/cancle link. If so do i need to fill up the forms again? Any help is appreciated.

U can reschedule once without cancelling it..But I don't think preponement is allowed without canceling it first. In that case u will have to complete the forms again.. (to the best of my knowledge)

were you able to prepone the appointment?
I am not able to prepone the date even after cancelling the exiting appointment.
Available dates and the dates shwon at the time of booking are not the same.
Does any one know what is the exact process.

My current appointment date is sept 21st. I checked if there are any dates available before sept 21, May 23rd was available, and when i cancelled my existing appoitntment to book this date i was shown dates only in sept.
I dont understand why is there inconsistency.

if you have already preponed the appointment , please let me know the process.

dont cancel ur appt unless u see atleast 3-4 other earlier dates..

Available dates will be shown for only one month.
and Its very unrealistic to find 3-4 earlier dates at any single point of time.

What wonders to me is that available date was showing May 23rd even after trying for 5 minutes. but May 23rd is not shown when I create a new appointment. Date shown while creating appointment is Sept 21st, 22nd ...

I guess there is some inconsistency in updating databases. :eek:

let me know if some one has any thoughts.
Is there any one who could successfully reschedule their appointment to an earlier date? please let us know.

hi,

you reschedule to an earlier date.but you should cancel the present appointments and you should be ready with the filled forms.as soon as you see the date you should book it immediately which is the last step in confirming the apt.but you should monitor it cont may be 24hrs:)

If any body successfully rescheduled their appointment to earlier date pls let me know. I am trying to book appointment in telugu for chennai consulate. I could see few dates in estimation link. But when i actually tried to book appointment it gave me interview dates not available message. Strange thing is estimation link has shown the same dates after couple of minutes.
ANY HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED.

I have a question regarding resceduling an appointment. My sister took an appoinment which is not online. Can I rescedule it online? I don't have HDFC Bank receipt number? How do I proceed? Please Help.

hi vallari,
Rescedule is possible only if u have taken the appointment through vfs site. Or else cancel u r appointment and u can schedule online.
