Urgent please help.. name change in ds 156

Please help .....
My sister has interview scheduled for 24th april. She is about send in all the forms by 2 days.
There is a discrepancy in her name
Her passport has her name as 'Satya' and her real name is spelt 'Sathya'
Also all ds forms have been filled in as 'Sathya'
Should we do the same like fill in a blank DS forms (ds-156 & ds-157) and indicate to the CO that the name was typed wrongly.
will it be a problem to show her name as 'Satya' as in passport when her sign and real name is 'Sathya'

Do we have to submit the handwritten form ds156 along with other documents that we send 5 days before to the consulate?

There is a problem with having Name in forms similar to that of passport as her children's passport shows her name as 'Sathya' and not 'Satya' (as in her passport)
Also, her marriage certificate and other documents show her name as 'Sathya'
We intend to do this. Send the documents as it is.
Try to get the name changed with the passport office with a tatkal scheme and inform the co during interview that we changed the name as it was wrong.
Is this okay?
