H4 and new passport query ---urgent

Hi,

I am working in US since 2 years and i recently got married in January. When my wife went to get my name (spouse name) endorsed in her passport they said that they dont do endorsements anymore and issued her a new passport.

We have taken her appointment online using the details of her old passport containing her maiden name and old passport number. That passport is cancelled now and she has a new passport with my surname. The forms filled online DS156 and 157 and the appointment taken are from the old cancelled passport.

What should we do now as her interview date is next week? Please advice fast.

Go to consulate with both old and new passport.
Also keep a new application form with new passport info in it.

If you have scheduled an appointment on our website with your old passport number and subsequently renewed the passport, you need to bring in the old and new passport for visa interview, keep the staff at the visa window informed at the time of the interview.
