- My Green Card application justed submitted to laywer
through my employer.
- Last week, there was first ad in the paper. It is going
to continue for two more months.

I don't know what is the next stage. What are the phrases in this Green Card? Can any one tell me in detail will i get any official paper work for the First phrase, as my employer is very smart guy.

Well once the advertisment goes through u would be asked to fill in the forms for labour certification. Good idea would be to collect all the advertisments just a precaution. According to ur background if u r a graduate then u apply in EB3 category if postgraduate EB2 if Phd EB1 category. Once labour comes through ur lawyer would apply for I140 please do keep xerox of all the papers ur lawyer sends. u. Once u get I140 u go for 485 for which u need ur birth certificates ur childrens birth certificates marriage certificates, parent information u will have to go through medical examination through an INS prescribed doctor and some forms to fill in. These r the main stages of green card

To file the labor under RIR and EB2 category, what kind of ad required either through internet or daily newspaper ? and how long period it should be advertised? Can we file using RIR option without any advertisement if anyone has more than 10years experience?
Any ideas and more details will be highly appreciated.

Although ad over the Internate is supportive, INS don't consider its ad for Job, so best way for the add is local newpaper. If your company participates in job faires the it also give solid ground for converting to RIR. Any previous advertisement , but lss than 6 months before filing you case to INS is valid. Talk to your attorny for further info.
