visitor visa and 7th yr extension

we have applied for 7th yr extension and haven't received the papers yet.my parents got appt for april 24th.. so iam going to send the docs for visa..so is there any prob in getting visa without the 7th yr extension papers...
pls reply asap..

if u have applied for extension u can send the receipt notice printout - there shld be no issues with the b2 visa - make sure u have all reqd docs and request short duration on the forms
