Hi,

My parents are reaching SFO on 14th Mar and I would like to know what documentation is asked at the immigration counter.

They are carrying the following set of docs:
1. My invitation letter(the same personal letter written to them when they went to US consulate in Chennai).
2. Copy of my passport with I-94 stamp
3. Copies my visa, I-797, I-129, etc.

Are any other docs needed? If so, please let me know.

Also, it would be great, if you could let me know as to what is it that is generally asked at the immigration counter? What kind of questionnaire to be prepared for?

Normally u don't need any special docs other than the Visa. They may ask whats the purpose of visit, how many mths u need, Where they going to stay, ur job, etc..
