Hi Murali, Raj & All,
I plan to invite my Brother and Mom to visit. Need to call my mother for 6 months, so do i need to make seperate I-134 for both of them and combined interview, as my brother is working and he can get a leave for only ~a month .
Do i need to explicitly state his visa duration as 1 or 2 months in the invitation letter, exactly similar as in the leave grant letter?
And so do they need totally different set of documents like I-134 or invitation letter? although a combined interview scheduled for july. Please advise. Thanks Much !

One I134 for same family. (hus/wife and children) Its better to say 1 or 2 mths as in the leave letter. If u get the visa, u will get atleast for 6 mths. so its fine.

Hi Raj,
Is there remote chances of them giving 2 or 4 months visa for both, as i need 6 months for my mother. And should it be combined invitation letter as well for both of them? Thanks much for you prompt reply.

Eventhough u mention 2 mths on Ds 156, normally one gets atleast 6 mths of visa. Its enough to have only one invitation letter. Evenif u have 2 , its ok. They don't reject visa saying that u have 2 inv. letters :-)
