help needed regarding delivery of passport after stamping

Hi all,

I booked interview dates for my parents on april 19th..and while applying i selected the option of receiving the passport thru blue dart courier service..there was also an option of picking it up at the consulate..Now i wanted to change the option to pick up.

Can we change the option once the interview dates are booked?
If anyone succeeded in this pls guide me..I am not able to do this.

Any kind of help is much appreciated.

I don't think u can do that.. BTW, whats wrong with blue dart pick up? I did that for my in-laws and worked out well..

Actually i want my parents to be here as soon as possible as my delivery date is april 1st week.I heard that blue dart pick up will take atleast 1 week ..instead if we select pick up option we can just take the passport the same day or next day.. and immediately they can start..so i just thought of changing..also based on that we need to book the tickets and specify the start date of their journey..

How many days it took for u to get the passport thru blue dart?

ok. Their interview was on Feb. 25 and I checked status (via VFS site) on Feb28. Th e online status was saying something like "Your passport is ready to be picked up and will be in the consulate office for pickup between the hours of 14.00 and 16.00 (2-4pm). If not picked up it will be delivered to the address you specified" . So that means that u can pick up at the consulate if somebody is there on that day (when passport is ready) or they will send it to blue dart. Blue dart got it on the same date! So there was no delay (atleast in my case)
