Hi Everyone,

I booked an appointment for my mother by selecting Language as Telugu, but in the Invitation letter, no language selection is shown.
On some of the threads in this forum, I saw that if no language is shown in the Invitation Letter, that would mean English is the Langauge of Interview.

BUt because I will need a telugu Interview, what are my options?

Should I reschedule the Interview? If that is the case, then that would psuh my Mother`s Interview by almost 4 months into the future.

Please advice!!

Thanks.

Hi All,

I wrote to the VFS help desk about the Language error . I thought I requested the Interview Language as Telugu, but after the Interview Date was confirmed ( for April last week), I noticed that the Invitation letter had no language selected. which meant that the Interview language was set as English.

The VFS help desk took a day to verify about my question and they responded back saying that I had infact selected English.

That explains why I got an April last week appointment, when the rest of appointments were showing June end for Telugu.

The VFS help desk response is good and prompt and they usually respond within 2 days.

Thought this info might help someone in same boat.
