how to get visitor visa for wife ( I myself have business visa) ..

I would be travelling to USA on business visa, for 1 month. My stay arrangement in USA is done by my employer in India.

In order to obtain traveller visa for my wife, what all docs are required..?

What are the chances of getting traveller's visa for wife (as I myself would travel on business visa)..?

It would be tourist B2 visa.
You will need most of the documents like passport, forums, appointment with consulate etc etc.

Other then these you will need the following :

A letter from you to consulate reqesut a visa for your visa to accompany you on this trip.Also stating that you will take care of all her expenses etc for trip.

A letter from your employer if possible requesting consulate to issue a visa for your wife, who will be accompany you while you visit USA.

Note : Depends on who bear the expenses for your wife's travel, if you you should include this statement in the letter that you will take care and responsible for all the expenses for her travel
Else if your company is willing to do so, the company letter should have simialr wording.

my employer is not ready to mentione my wife's name in invitation letter, as I am travelling on business visa, and not on H1/L1..

hence I was trying on my own for wife's visa... in that case, just mentioning on another letter that I will bear all expenses for wife, will be suffice..?

another posibility that I can try is :

My wife's sister is in US on H1 visa. after getting sister's invitation, I can write her US address in DS 156.

But, is it mandatory that my wife should travel to SAME city mentioned in (DS156) during ENTRY in US..? or she can visit any city (other than the one mentioned in DS156) during ENTRY in US..?
