I'm following this website ever since I started booking an appointment for my parents. Here are couple of things that happened and I need your expert advise

Step1: I Opted "Tamil" as Interview Language for my mother and filled Ds156/157
Step2: I tried to add my Father as an applicant and "VFS Website did not give any option for Interview language this time", Instead it directly took me to the PassPort/BarCode details page. So, I thought "Tamil" holds good for both of them.
Step3: I confirmed the appointment and when I checked the interview letter, "Interview Language or CaseType" is no where mentioned on it.
Step4: Got all tensed up and called VFS (44-4231-6767) and the Customer Care person asked for passport details and she confirmed that my mother is in "Tamil" and fathers is in "English"

Now, I'm confused whether to let it go as both have the appointment at the same time and one of them has "Tamil" as Interview Language or Cancel the appointment and rebook the appointment. I would await answers from this great forum before I consider my next steps

Here are my questions to you all

1. Will the Interview language gets mentioned on the Interview Letter? According to VFS Customer Care, it doesn't.
2. Can I assume, that my parents are on safe side as "According to VFS Customer Care", My mothers Interview Language is set as "Tamil"?
3. Does anyone know any website or document that contains sample Interview letter?

Bottomline is, It is good that US Consulate guys have automated the VISA application process to some extent, but at the same time we all have to agree that its full of bugs/issues.

Appreciate your Help.

Thanks.

Hi,

My Dads interview letter clearly mentioned TELUGU as CaseType. since i entered his details first. I entered my mom as additional applicant and i diid not get a chance to select language. but her Interview letter clearly mentioned CaseType: ENGLISH. but both has same interview time.

May be wr OK with this. Since you already called VFS, if possible why don't you call them again and confirm is it OK?.

Please let me know if you got any thing from VFS.....

Regards,
Ravi

Guys,

I have sent all my details to VFS and they have corrected my mom's interview letter. Now the letter says "TELUGU" as casetype(Language of Interview). You all better need to contact them if have the same issue.
