I work for Company 'A', can company 'B' file my Green Card, if yes can someone let me know how.

No it can't ,for emlloyment based GC, u should be an employee of the company

Ask ur lawyer, as I think it is possible for u to start ur GC from a different company but u will have to join that company when u file for 485 and be with that company for 6 months after filing

Yes, anycompany can apply for your GC as Employment based GC is for future employement. So when you reach the 140 stage just ensure that you join that company as normally in 140 stage, they send in an RFE to the company & it's very essential that @ 485 stage you be in that company before you apply so that you can show atleast 6 months of working with that organization to obtain your GC.
