Group Appointment -

Hi ,

We scheduled a Group appointment on may 22nd' 06 at chenani. Myself and my husband are in that Group.

My husband came to US on H1 (2years back) for one employer, his H1 is transferred to another employer in nov 2005. My husband got a permanat job at that employer. My husband's first H1 is expired. So he also needs a Stamping .

I came on H4 to US in may 2005 and Got H1 in October' 05, joined the client in december( as soon as I got H1 I applied for SSN, but got the SSN after one and half month because I changed from h4 to H1, they took time). As soon as I got SSN I joined the client location. Here my client is same as my husband's employer.

So Can anybody tell me is it better to go as group for us , what careful steps we should take ? In my case There is a gap of one and half month before I joined client location. Is it ok to have that gap? Since I donot have SSN to join the client.

Any replies will be appreciated.

family members can take a single appt for h1/h4 - this shld be ok.
The gap should not be a major problem - as long as u have all other required docs a mentioned on the vfs/consulate website
