L1, L2 visa related

Hi friends,

I am on L1 visa, my husband and my two kids are on L2 visa. I have multiple questions:

1. My husband is working for a swiss based company at New York on L2 with EAD. He needs to travel frequently to Switzerland on official. Will there be any issues if his L2 visa expires when he is in switzerland and he gets it stamped at Switzerland.

2. I am planning to vist India during June, July 2006. Our visa stampings are only till 25th July 2006. Right now my I94 is till 2008. If I travel to Inida and come back within my visa expires(say July 15th 2006)do I still need my visas stamped at India?

If we do not get our visas stamped, is there any possibility that I face objections at the port of entry since our visas are getting expired within few days?

Please advice. I need to plan for visa stamping from right now if it is unavoidable.

1. There is no gurantee that the Switzerland US consulate can do the visa stamp, he may have to get the stmping done in home country, so make sure that he should be aware of this. If visa is expired he wont be able to enter into USA.

2.You can not enterinto USA if visa is expired, I94 and Visa stamp are different things.
valid Visa stamp is required in order to enter into USA, while I94 is legal length of stay in USA.
