Hi all,
I need a clarification regarding a problem I am facing right now. My husband name is very lengthy(58 Charecters).He can't enter his full name in Social Security Number and his company,so he entered his lastname and half of the surname.
(Eg. Surname a b Given Name c d e , now he enterd the name as b e). His fullname is there in his passport,but his confirmation letter and pay stubs are in short name. is it make any problem in my H4 Visa?Is it necessary to provide any document for this?

This would not be an issue - just make sure u have all required docs as mentioned on the consulate / vfs website.

Thank you for your help.i have one more doubt regarding H4 documents.

In vfs site they mentioned to take Principal Applicants original Notice of Action Form I-797.but in Chennai.usconsulate.gov site they mentioned copy of Principal Applicants original Notice of Action Form I-797.my husband is in US right now.can anyone know about this please reply.

Hi all,

i'm waiting for my H4 visa interview,for tht i need to show the following letter to VO.
1. Employment conformation letter from principle applicant's employer(not Employment verification)
2. Formal invitation letter form princiapl applicant's employer
3. Covering letter to Us consulate from me
if anyone know abt the format of these letters please let me know.

Hi all,

My husband is working in H1B visa for past 3 months.i'm waiting for my H4.For tht i should show his 3 months pay stubs to VO.Unfortunately my husband missed some of his payslips,but he got a letter from his company regarding his salary.
Is it make any issue in my H4 visa?
if anyyone knows abt this please let me know,

if u have bank statements showing salary credit that wld help
a letter from the employer wld also be required.

is there any time limit to change my visa application?
can i change my visa application one day before my interview date?
