Hello all
I have my OPT valid till May 20, 2006 and I have also applied for a H-1 through a consulting company.The Lawyer has put the starting date on my H-1 application as May 1st ,2006. I havn't got my H-1 approved yet but still in the process and may be I will get my H-1 VISA by March 2nd week or so. I have not started to work for the consulting company yet as I am under going training and I my pay roll has not been started, so I don't have any pay stub also.My question is , If I get a job in other company before May 1,2006 , Can I apply for transfer or can I work on my OPT and later transfer after May 1st, 2006 or how does it work.Please can anyone help me in this.
