Hi,

My parents in laws visa application was rejected on Feb 3, 2006.
They got their appointment to appear for visa before 4 months.

Now, they wanted to re-appear.

To re-appear, do they have to take a new appoitnment? If they do have to take appointment, will it be similar like 4-5 months later they would get a new appoinment? As a sponsor, do I have to send all the papers again?
Or
They can re-appear as in the continuation of the first rejection? What is the procedure to do this if possible.

Thanks,
Viren

U have to pay the appln fee again and schedule appt through VFS.

U will have to send all DATED papers again like I 134, Bank letter, Emp. Letter, invitation letter etc.

- My parents-in-law applied for an appointment somewhere in Nov 2005.
- They got an appointment for Feb 2006.
- their visa was rejected in Feb 2006
- Now when they went for re-application, the new date will be coming out somewhere in Jul 2006.

So, is it like one has to wait this long?
Once when first time visa gets rejected, the next chance is like after another four months? Again, if Visa rejected then wait for another four months for next appointment? Does this happen to everybody? Isn't waiting four months upon rejection is a longer period?

Is it always the case? Is there a way that helps to get faster appointment?
Can not we continually get a next appointment upon rejection if that happens so?

Thanks in advance.

There is no way to get earlier appointments..

One thing you can do is book the available appointment and look for the available dates frequently on VFS, If you find one earlier then yours, you can reschedule..

Only one time reschedule is allowed per receipt.

Good luck. Hope for not getting rejection next time.

Could you please let us know which consulate did you father-in-law go to and on what basis was he refused last time? I am curious to know because my father was also refused (214b) in November, 2005 and is re-appearing next week. Thanks!
