Regarding DD's taken for visa fee

Hi,

I have applied for my in-laws visa second time and there interview is in april..
we wnt to cancel tht appointment as they r not coming to USA due to some reasons..
since we have already taken the DD's in HDFC and booked the slot for visa,if we cancel the appointment, are we sopposed to get tht DD's Amount reimbursed back to us?
Pls let me know ..
