got 221G at chennai on 18th Jan 2006

HI all,

i have attended the chenai consulate for H1B on 18th Jan 2006.
there was a huge crowd that day and i was the last person to be intwd in the consulate.
It went like this..

VO: Plz give me ur file.
Me: I gave it.

She looked at my passport ( i have a 5 yr Multiple B1/B2)..

VO: When did u got to US and why?
Me: I explained why i went.

VO: She asked my degree cert's.
Me: Gave it.

VO: Experience letters.
Me : Gave it.

VO: what will u do in US now?
Me: I explained abt my project.

I gave all the docs wich she asked but at the end she asked the photo copies of my previous employers releiving and my currents employers offer letter..
I gave her the original and she told she needs a photo copy so that she can file them... and she gave me 221G stating me to submit those two copies along with my passport and dd in the VFS drop box.

I submited them in VFS drop box yesterday..

My question is will i get visa or not...
what does she mean by asking me to submit the docs in drop box..
Is my case rejected or wat ????
Someone plz help me.

Mine was a similar case..Went on feb 8th in chennai and gave me 221(g) form and said that get the market analysis docs and put those along with photocopies +pp +dd in the drop box.

BTW i am wating for my employer to send me the above market analysis documents.

1)Can you tell me what is the procedure to put these in drop box.
and also what are the original , copies u had put in drop box.

2) Also, 2,300 DD only we need to put - am i correct
Somebody told me to take 2,400..

which is the correct amt DD i need to take and put in drop box.

Your help is greatly appreciated,.
