Parents Visa rejected in Chennai

Hi All,

My parents went for visitor visa to Chennai consulte on Jan5th and they denied and gave 241(b).I believe they are not convinced that my parents have enough family ties in India. VO officer asked only 3 questions

1. why do want to visit USA
my parents told for tourism and to visit their younger daughter and son-in-law.
2. How many children do they have?
my father told 2 daughters
3. Does your daughter stay with you?
father said , no she got married and stays in banglore.

Thats it they said sorry.
My question if they reapply for visa can my parents say I am the elder daughter and they had younger daughter in India who is studying and she is dependent on them. Will they record the answers in their system what my parents told and compare the answers when they appear next time. And how long they have to wait before they reapply for Visa.

Please advice.

I dont think they will record all the answers that we say, next time when they attend the interview they can tell like "I have a yonger daughter who is studying and unmarried" because nobody is going to check your background of what you say except in some sensitve cases (like Military service, Central Govt Intelligence Service etc.).

what is the procedure to reapply?? on same day they rejected to my parents also.....
they asked
why are you going?
to see the places and to visit my daughters family
when did u see ur daughter
two years back
why don't she come
she is planning to come for my son;s marriage

Hi,
I think you can re-apply after 3 business days. take DD's from HDFC (Visa fees) and then take appointment from VFS.
