Visitor Visa Rejected for Parents -- First Attempt. Need help.

Hi Everyone,

My parents had interview at Calcutta consulate on Jan 5th and their visa was refused.
CO didn't even look at either my/ my parents property documents. :mad:

I am planning to take next available appointment (march/April 2006). My father doesn't want to
come to US anymore and he has suggested I should only book appointment for my mother. I am
wondering if this will create any problem? Or will it be advantageous.

Any pointers/help will be much appreciated.

I do not see any problem in bokking the appointment only for mother.
Interview is the key , so prepare well for them for the interview.

Will it be considered suspicious if Mother is travelling alone? (pregnancy) etc?

There may be questions on why only mother is going and if you have the right/valid answers, it shouldn't be an issue.

Pay the fees thr hdfc and get appt thr vfs services.It will take 2days to get ur fee activate.Send the papers I134,bankstatement,paystatement and w2 (nowits jan so we have new w2) and the invitation letters newly near ur appt date.other than that all r same.

i think we need not to pay the fee again.... we can use same receipt for one year right.... can you guide me please

We need to pay the fee again.Once u go to interview that 100$ fee and got rejected that 100$ is gone.They wont return only u will have that 2300Rs dd.So we need to pay that 100$ and services charges again.
