Hi,
I have one question for this forum, please let me know if someone knows anything about this.
I was reading all the sites, forums, documents that were available to me before sending all my documents to my parents. My father is a Govt. Employee and getting retired on 31-January 06. They have good wealth in India. They had interview on 05-Jan-2006 in Delhi Embassy, all the interview went well but in last they told my parents that they will do some inquiry for 2 weeks and then they will ask them to send the passports for the Visa. When my parents asked whether its a REJECTION, they replied NO we are not denying the visa, but we need to do some inquiry and then will ask for your visa after 2 weeks and you don’t even need to come for interview again....

Now the question is ..... IS THIS NORMAL??? As I have never heard this kind of interview from anyone.

Please advice.

Surprised !!!

I have never come across anything like this. Maybe they wanted to check some more about the total wealth disclosed.

Hi Deep,
My parents was telling me that consulate gave the same kind of letter to another couple too who was in line prior to them (on 5-Jan-2006 Delhi Embessy). I have few questions for you:
Did they call your parents for finger prints again after they leave the embessy??
also, is anyone of your parents is currently working as an Govt. Employee ??

Ifact yes, they did ask my dad to come for Finger printting again,
and yes he is a GOVT employee ( working in a national Bank) .
Is the administrative processing being done as he is a Govt employee.
