If u are sponsoring ur parents, then u need to send ur original BC. If u are sponsoring ur in laws, u need to send ur wife's original BC. But in either case, its good to have BC's of both husband and wife (just in case).

10th marklist is not same as BC. Try to get the BC, if u can. Otherwise get non availability certificate from ur local village (municipality) and get a copy of ur 10th certificate's first page and notarise it.

if u have domicile cert - that can be used in place of birth cert.
any affidavit of birth also helps.

Is it necessary to have no availability certificate from the place where birth happened or the local place where parents are staying can give that ?

Who can notarise tha affidavit if birth certificate is not available or incomplete ?
