My parents had applied for visa in 2003 and 2004 and both times their visa was rejected. First time the reason was insufficient funds and second time because me and my sister both sponsered her they said that my parents will not return back. this time I am sponsoring only my mother's visa. I am hoping that incase of ties back home she can show that my father is there and does not have a visitor visa to US also her father who is 90yrs and her father-in-law who is 88 yrs old are her responsibility. My father is working and can show his income and investments in India. I have couple of questions
1) I understand that these days they are asking questions like how many childeren do you have? -- Now I have one sister who is in the US and currently going through a divorce. She has not sponsered my mothers visa so incase of such a question what do you think she should answer. I understand that honesty is the best thing but still how do you propose this question should be handled. we dont want to give them any impression that my mother would stay back because both her daughters are here in the states. Help Please
2) what would be the best way to tackle a visa for my father. For mother we thought having dad as a tie back home would work how do you propose we present my dad's case. Like I mentioned earlier he is working and has sole responsibility of both my grandfathers. Any ideas.....
Your response will be greatly appreciated
Thanks,
Manjiri
