Visa Appointment for parents together

Hi,
I have a question regarding the visitor visa appointment for parents. As per my understanding of the process uner the new system I would need to pay money for their visas separately at the HDFC banks. This means they would be getting two receipt numbers. At the time of appointment on the vfs site do I take appointments for my mom and dad separately or is there a way to link the two applications so that both of them appear together? If I have to take them separately is there a way I can ensure that atleast they have appointments on the same day? Any information regarding the appointment process would be helpful. Also, is there a way to select the dates on the site or are they automatically given by earliest available?

Hi, at the end of filling up the application of VFS site it will ask ask if you want to add another in this application.

All available dates will be displayed in calendar format once you've filled all forms. U have to fill DS156, DS 157 forms for each person. Once you are done filling DS 156 and Ds 157 for the first person, it will ask you whether u need to add another person or not.

Normally both will get same date and time. MAke sure u have all info gathered and ready before scheduling appt. Fill forms as fast as u can making sure u put correct info. especially the passport details such as name, DOB, passport issue and expiry dates etc. Passport details CAN'T be altered later. (atleast the first 14 fields of the form CAN't be modified later.)
