Hi,
I am about to book an appointment to US visitor visa onilne for my parents and have following questions. Appreciate your help.

1) Looks like online system allows to book appointment one at a time. How can i be sure both my parents get the appointment at same time?

2) My dad has no active business. He just lives off house rents which we can't mention as business. What should we say about his occupation? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

3) For passport issue details i should exactly as shown in the quotes right, according to the guidelines? "Place of Issue: CHENNAI, Country of Issue: USA"

4) Application prepared by:
Just because i am booking the appointment online from US, we don't have to fill that application was prepared by me. They are going to read and sign it so its prepared by them is that right? Or should i mention my name as prepared by and give my USA address with todays date?

Appreciate your response

U have to fill DS 156 and DS 157 for each person. Normally both will get same date.

Assume u are talking abt ur parents passport issue details. Its on their passport front page. Just write down what you see there.

You can put your name and sign it. No problem with that.

Raj,
Thank you for your response.

I am planning to book the appointment from home where i do not have a printer. Is printer required to finish this booking process (I have to finish it by today as the dates are taken pretty fast)

Appreciate your resp.

u don't need printer right away. Ur application will be saved for 30 days. At the end of the process u will be asked whether u need the link to ur application emailed to u or not. CLick yes and u can use that link to print out forms later. Also there is link on VFS site to retrieve saved appln.

NOTE: Passport details including names, DOB etc. can't be modified later. Make sure u put the correct info first time itself
