Jan appt - Got email from vfs

I had my parents appt scheduled for Jan 20th. Today I received mail from VFS rescheduling to Feb 24th.. :mad:


But no change for in-laws yet who have appt on Jan 30th.

yes... email id from DS 156..

time slot is 7.30 to 10 am.. dont know if they have to be there before 7.30

But what was the initial appt time?? (jan20th appt time)

I just wanted to find out whether there is any sequence dpending on the initial time of interview

Initial appt was 8am on jan 20th..

nothing mentioned reg language in the mail.

No email is good news I guess. This is what VFS told me today.

Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank you for your e-mail .

Kindly note that if your appointment is rescheduled then you will be receiving the mail.

I also got that email.but if u read the press release they told clearly they will send email in both case.No change or change.Few of the members got email that there is no change in there appt.Then y we didnt get.jan18 and 20th receiving email and jan3rd not yet means i donno what to think

U are right in that case. Its disgusting.. Did u try to call VFS?

My Brother-in-law checked with the VFS personally and they said that "No E-mail means no change in appointment" and we can go to the interview on the scheduled date and time.

My parents has an appointment on Jan 3rd and they are preparing to attend the interview on Jan3rd

Oh so if we do not get any email, We should presume that appoinment date still holds good ?

Sunny, If you have not got any email and your mom is still on target on Jan 3rd , Could you please lwt us know on Jan 3rd after her interview.

Because mine is on Jan 6th and as you said , no email till now
