Emergency Appointment dates??

Hello,
Anybody has any experience with emergency appointment dates for Mumbai consl. I checked on VFS website. Appointment dates for "Emergency" and normal are same. I wrote to VFS specifically about H1 visa renewal appointment. I wrote them I have already checked website and Following is the reply I got

Dear Sir / Madam,

Thank you for your email.

Kindly note that the dates have been allocated by the consulate, so
please
keep checking the website for the earliest available dates.

Please write how to get appointment dates for emergency case.

Just email them and tell them you need to make an emergency appt since you qualify as Indian working in the US.

Hi there,

I have scheduled an appointment for H1 visa stamping in New Delhi for March 7th '06 and I really have to be back in US around Feb 25th. I keep checking the VFS website for an early date...I was wondering if I qualify for "Indian working in US" and get an early appointment date by emailing the VFS team?? Please advise.
