W2 forms

Hello,

I'm going for H1 stamping in January in Canada. I've heard some conflictiong statements about proof of tax forms (W2). Do I need to take the proof of my tax returns or my employer's tax forms? Thanks for your help.

if its restamping you may need the W2/tax documents for yourself .

I'm switching my visa from F1 to H1 for the first time.

Hi,
It seems like you have already been in the US and working too. If you have paid taxes or completed any calender year in the US when you have actually been working, then you will need to take tax returns.
